CONGREGATIONAL RENEWAL

WELCOMING PEOPLE OF ALL GENDER IDENTITIES AND SEXUAL ORIENTATION

What does it mean to welcome and be hospitable to people of all gender identities and sexual orientation? Are there things that need to be done in addition to placing the words "All are welcome" on our doors? Are there steps a worshiping community can take to insure that anyone who enters their fellowship is truly welcomed and accepted as they are? Is there work to be undone as people of different gender identities or sexual orientation have intentionally or unintentionally been made to feel that they are not welcome? These are but a few of the questions those who seek to welcome all people might wish to ask and answer.
